Organized by SECURITYMADEIN.LU, the Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg (CSWL) features the local ecosystem and partners. Benefiting from the involvement of all major stakeholders the CSWL advocacy campaign grows year after year and helps to position Luxembourg as one of the world leaders in the sector (ranked 11th in the ITU Global Cybersecurity Index 2018).
This 3rd edition is organized under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Economy and organized in the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM). Luxembourg’s contribution to this European initiative organized by the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and the European Commission - DG Connect, further promotes European cybersecurity expertise, internationally.
The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg aims to foster cybersecurity competence among citizens, public organizations as well as private entities. Unlike a forum, the CSWL is used to aggregate and boost the various events that will take place in different locations all over the Grand-Duchy in order to raise awareness, share best practices and provide experts a platform to exchange about trends and emerging challenges on information security.
The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg (#LuxSecurityWeek) will allow participants to:
- Learn about best practices and latest technologies;
- Promote information security within organizations to improve their resilience;
- Gain visibility at a local and international level;
- Meet investors, entrepreneurs, decision makers and experts.
On October 24th, during the Gala and Awards Night key players of cybersecurity will be awarded:
- CISO of the Year
- DPO of the Year
